Description
The M.Sc. in Biostatistics is by research and is a collaboration between the HRB Clinical Research Facility and the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Applied Mathematics, NUI Galway. This masters involves applied work in the medical area, typically in collaboration with the Clinical Research Facility at NUI Galway. Topics include clinical trials, survival analysis, and registry-based studies, and while there is no formal lecture component students may be asked to attend associated lectures, or a short course, if necessary.
