Description
The Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) is a brief cognitive screening tool for Mild Cognitive Impairment. Training and certification are required to insure accuracy for administering, scoring and interpreting the test. Online training and certification is available through the MoCA Test website, with training aimed at ensuring adequate administration and scoring of the test to improve accuracy and reliability and decrease test-retest variability. Following registration on the website, the training will walk participants through the development, rationale, limits, sensitivity, specificity and neuro-anatomical correlation of each test item. It will also provide participants with administration and scoring tips, a live testing video, test analysis of real cases and a self-test analysis. The estimated time to complete the training and certification modules is of 60 minutes.
