CSTAR was founded by a group of academic/health researchers from UCD, TCD, NUIG and UL with support from a number of other institutions. The mission of CSTAR is to enhance the quality and increase the quantity of health research in Ireland. Using one-to-one consultations, training courses and seminars, CSTAR provides health researchers in Ireland with a wealth of information on methodological developments and best practice in health-related research methods.
